Pineapple is good made like a kabab.
If you have a wire rack for your pit many fruits are good roasted and served with whipped cream.
Pineapple, pears, apples, peaches.
Of course hotdogs (or just about any other meat) on the rack or kabab stick.

Anything you can stick on the end of a wire coat hanger. Warning: when making s’mores if your marshmallow catches fire blow out the flame, don’t shake it or wave it in the air to get the fore out, it will become dislodged from the stick or hanger and become a flaming molten hot missile, though a spectacular site while in flight it will dampen the party atmosphere when it lands on somebody.

I like hot dogs and just plain marshmallows over the fire.

Heck you can make burgers on a stick….just shape them around then used hot dog buns instead of burger buns. And with the coat hanger thing for marshmellows……..I wouldn’t dare put those sharp things around kids…..nor would I like the transfer of heat to burn my hand…….I’d make sure the stick were long……in my opinion pine, hardwoods or even better fruit woods work best and if you accidently bite the stick it won’t hurt you.
