Does seem daft to heat fresh air???? And expensive.
Surely the best way would be one of those woodburning chimera thingies rather than waste gas or electricity? Think they look great too

b&q have all manner of reductions on heaters right now, They’ve got one that looks a bit like a victorian lamp-post.
