Living room furniture such as sofas and coffee tables must not only be functional but true to the owner's personality. An outspoken, ambitious individual may prefer furniture that is more decorative and likely to call attention to itself. An introverted, more philosophic individual may prefer understated furniture with comfort or price as its main feature.
